Some projects are more than just assignments – they are true labors of love.
For our long-standing client and valued partner, the St. Elisabeth Foundation, our FAIRtigung Holz team had the honor of bringing such a special project to life: the custom-built counter for the new Mamas Café – a modern, cozy café right in the heart of Vienna, at Zwettlerhof near Stephansplatz.
With great craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a generous dose of dedication, a unique centerpiece was created: a counter that is not only functional and beautiful, but also stands as a symbol of community, appreciation, and social responsibility. It was planned, crafted, and installed on-site by our team of instructors together with our transitional workers – a shining example of what can be achieved when people believe in something together.
Because Mamas Café is more than just a place for great coffee: as a social business, it offers new career opportunities in the hospitality sector for single mothers supported by the St. Elisabeth Foundation.
Whether it’s freshly brewed coffee, homemade cakes, or savory snacks made from regional ingredients – every visit supports not just the café, but the people working there. All proceeds go directly back into the project and help build a future for its team.
